Hi, I'm Kassidy!

I am a travel and landscape photographer born and raised in the PNW. I grew up in Washington state surrounded by beautiful mountains, rushing rivers, and captivating summer sunsets. I've always had a passion for photography starting at a young age. I was the one friend that took way too many pictures and always brought a disposable camera on field trips patiently awaiting the moment when my mom would say, "Your pictures are developed, do you want to go pick them up?"

My love for photography comes from my first true love- the great outdoors. I believe humans are as much part of nature as the rivers, mountains, and forests. Nothing sets me free like going out into nature and capturing its beauty. My love for photography also comes from a deep feeling knowing that the moments I capture quite literally won't happen again and I think that's a really moving thing.

The past couple years I've also developed a great passion for travel. I long to see as many places on this beautiful Earth as I can while I'm here. I lived overseas in Europe for six months playing basketball and it was one of the most eye opening experiences I've ever had. Capturing moments in places that contain so much history, beauty, and depth is absolutely fascinating to me. As my favorite artist, Tom Petty says, "After all, it was a great big world with lots of places to run to." And I'm determined to capture as much of it as I can.
